Snow Storm on the Way
January 26, 2015

The latest weather forecasts call for 12″ to 21″ inches of snow overnight followed by extremely cold temperatures. Please be assured that the plows and shovelers are on-call and will be out working throughout the storm and well into tomorrow.

Due to the predicted strength of this storm it may take some time to get your property completely dug out from the snow. The crews will be working under difficult conditions and your patience and cooperation are appreciated.

It may be a good idea to stock up today with items such as flash-light batteries in the event of temporary power loss. If appropriate please move your car(s) to allow plow access and do not venture outside unless it is absolutely necessary.
To stay up to date on weather related news, News 12 Long Island and FIOS 1 are keeping up to the minute news and updates regarding this winter storm.

Preparing for Fall
October 7, 2014

Although no one is complaining that the warm weather continues to linger into mid-October, we are busy hard at work behind the scenes preparing for fall and the upcoming winter. This time of year some days are cold and some days remind us what a great summer just passed. The pools are all closed and the boilers are being serviced and are starting to be turned on. Please note that when the temp. hovers around 50 degrees, the thermostat does not always call for heat. Please call the office if there is an issue. We are continuing to get ready for the coming winter. Snow Melt is being bought and the shovels checked. Daylight savings time is the first weekend on November so we will be re-setting the light timers, please don’t forget to check the battery in your smoke alarm.

Spring is Here
April 10, 2014

With the warm weather finally here, it is time to start thinking about getting ready for the summer. Repair and maintenance projects are getting underway. Swimming pools are being readied for the coming season, sprinkler systems are being turned on, and landscaping is being upgraded and/or replaced to show off their colors. Now is a good time talk to your Property Manager about your ideas to improve the property and address issues that were delayed due to the cold weather. We wish everyone a happy spring as we look forward to a great summer!

First Storm of the Year
January 2, 2014

The first storm of 2014 is on the way with up to twelve inches of snow followed by some record cold weather. We recommend that everyone take reasonable precautions, buy whatever food and supplies you will need for the weekend and move your car(s), as needed to allow plow access to your property. The snow plows and/or shovelers will be out during and after the storm. We appreciate your patience as they make their way to your property and for your safety recommend that you do not venture outside except when absolutely necessary.

Sweater Weather
October 31, 2013

Now that the cooler weather is here, the sprinkler systems and pools have all been winterized and the boilers have been serviced, tested, and turned on. in an effort to conserve heat, it is a good idea to make sure that your windows are not only closed but also locked to minimize heat loss. Also, furniture should be moved away from the radiators and heat sources to allow for the free flow of heat throughout your home. Because the boilers are often controlled by outside thermostats, when the temps hover around 50 degrees, the boilers often do not turn on. If you find it too hot or too cold in your apartment, please contact your Managing Agent or Supt. but keep in mind that these issues often resolve themselves once the temps drop into the 40’s. We wish everyone a happy Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Mid-summer Review
August 8, 2013

Its been an exciting summer so far and lots is happening! Most importantly, we are back in our office at 84 East Park Avenue serving our clients. The newly renovated offices has a more modern look and we appreciate all the encouragement and kind words that we received. We hope that you stopped by and got your free tree while they lasted. It is important to re-green Long Beach! A large section of the Boardwalk has opened and the general consensus is that it looks great and is a much smoother ride for those on bicycles. All in all, there has been a lot of activity and Long Beach is coming back strong.

We are glad to see that the Unit Owners and Residents of Granada Towers Condo are finally back in their homes. It has been a long three months of hard work on the parts of alot of dedicated people, but the “thanks” we have received makes it worthwhile. Work proceeds at many locations around town and we look forward to the date when everyone (including us)in Long Beach is back in their homes and offices. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Board Members, Superintendent’s, employees, contractors, suppliers, vendors, local officials and everyone else who has gone above and beyond the call of duty over the past few months.
